We originally developed analytical models for large-scale IT procurement projects and found them to be equally applicable to organisations making major business decisions of all types:
-
evaluating strategies
choosing industrial locations
commercialisation routes following product R&D
assessing investment proposals for venture capitalists
grooming entrepreneurs to become investment-ready
Decision Evaluation has two key divisions:
-
Decision Evaluation for strategic business decision-making
IT Evaluation for technology procurement projects
Our tools can be usefully employed in many fields. We apply our unique methodologies to IT procurement, investment assessments, strategic planning, product development, choosing industrial locations, and many more evaluations. We have developed a way of organising all the crucial factors to accommodate multiple options, multiple criteria and multiple decision-makers.
We use a process that does not challenge authority, but may challenge some of the available information, which needs to be interrogated rigorously to get the best results. By using an approach that is independent, and provably and manifestly fair, we can bring big improvements in just a few days.
Since our formation in 1992, we have taken a long-term view of our projects and client relations. Decision Evaluation remains professional, ethical and impartial - qualities our clients appreciate, we believe the best PR is a happy customer.
Our People - Consultants & Associates
Our Skills NetworkDecision Evaluation has built an impressive network of contacts and associates.
Many specialists are independent and do not advertise. We sometimes sub-contract these providers, but more often we refer clients to the recommended providers on a goodwill basis (without referral fee) to form a direct relationship independent of Decision Evaluation.
All our people combine methodologies with wide and deep practical experience to deliver the benefits with greater certainty and speed.
